Women's Transit and Campus Walking Services

 

Women's Transit and Campus Walking Services will begin operations in the Fall.

 
Women's Transit is looking for students interested in volunteering as dispatchers and drivers. To volunteer stop by the Women's Resource Center in Wilson Hall Room 8 from 8-5pm Monday –Friday to pick up an application.

Training will be provided for new volunteers on January 23th and also on January 24, 2013.

Women's Transit will begin operation on January 28, 2013 and ends on April 22, 2013.

Women's Transit is sponsoring a new walking service to its program. The service is designed to offer an overall safe campus environment by providing a free, safe, door-to-door walking service for all WSU students who would over wise walk alone after dark.

Women’s Transit
Sunday - Thursday 8pm-12am  *Women's Transit is for WSU Women & GLBTQ Students only.

Friday – Saturday 8pm-2am 

Campus Walking Service
Sun-Sat 8pm-12am

The walking service does cover limited areas of Greek Row,

Cougar Security is a free, safe on campus escort service, provided by the WSU Police Department.
